Freewheel Studios is a one-man operation providing creative photo and video services. I’m Joseph Ernst, and with years of experience in visual media, I tell the stories you want to share with the world. In this age of AI and smartphone cameras, I set myself apart by connecting with other people and looking for their unique stories - and then telling them in a beautiful, authentic way.

  • I use premium camera, lighting, and editing equipment, and hold a current FAA Part 107 license, allowing for legal commercial aerial drone work.

With clients ranging from musicians to municipalities, small businesses to tourism offices, individuals and beyond, I’ve become known for beautiful images. Events, portraits, products, cars, buildings, aerial work, and more - I’ve done it. What can I do for you?

VIDEO

On the video front, I also work in a wide range of styles. I focus on crisp shots, tight editing, a compelling narrative arc, and dynamic visual storytelling. Think less “15-second throwaway TikTok videos”, and more “intentional stories told with engaging visuals”.
