Freewheel Studios is a one-man operation providing creative photo and video services. I’m Joseph Ernst, and I work with honesty and warmth, letting authentic stories come through.
In this age of AI and smartphone cameras, I set myself apart by connecting with people and places and looking for their unique character - and then capturing that in a beautiful, genuine way.
I use premium camera, lighting, and editing equipment. I hold a current FAA Part 107 license, allowing for legal commercial aerial drone work.

With clients ranging from small businesses to tourism offices, events to municipalities, individuals and beyond, I’ve become known for beautiful images. Events, products, bikes, cars, portraits, buildings, landscapes, aerial work, and more - I’ve done it. What can I do for you?
VIDEO
On the video front, I also work with a wide range of subjects. I focus on crisp shots, tight editing, a compelling narrative arc, and dynamic visual storytelling. Think less “15-second throwaway TikTok videos”, and more “intentional, authentic stories told with beautiful visuals”.
