REVERIE ROADS

Six weeks ago, Visit Madison reached out to me. I was on the West Coast at the time, but one Zoom call later, I was on board. The project? A long-time-coming motor route idea called Reverie Roads. Building on an 80 year old history (the local Rotary Club published touring routes in the 40’s), Reverie Roads takes tourists and locals alike on beautiful, exploratory drives through the countryside surrounding Madison, Indiana. Visit Madison needed a launch video and supporting photographs. Another company they’d been working with for several months wasn’t getting it done. Was I in? Heck yeah!

Below is the result. Freewheel Studios contributions: The video concept, the script, all filming/shooting, editing, sound design, and overall production. We also produced 30-second, 15-second, and 7-second versions, along with a dozen more photos.

I enjoyed this immensely - and I can’t wait to shoot additional supporting videos for the individual routes. Check out the Reverie Roads project website here!
